Music Surgery
The A & R departments most comprehensive research facility

The Music Surgery is one of the best-kept secrets unil now. It is located in the basement of Broadchart's offices in the London's West End - 2 minutes from Oxford Circus. The surgery has 3 million recordings on CD and vinyl and 'probably' the best Music Doctor in the world.

Who Needs an Appointment?

The Music Surgery is for A & R, compilation and special projects executives and artists. The Music Surgery will provide that hit single, those last two songs needed to complete the album or the complete compilation concept and play lists.

How Does It Work?

The Music Surgery can be booked for a half day when songs will be recommended, sourced and auditioned for a particular artist, compilation or special project. Before the ‘appointment’ the music executive will inform ‘Doctor Swern’ of the artist or project in question. This will enable advance diagnosis and a selection of recordings ready for the studio session. This process will be supported by the 2 million track music library, The Phil Swern Collection and the ‘fountain of all music knowledge’ ‘Doctor’ Phil Swern.

After a successful session and the short list of suitable recordings, Broadchart will dub the recordings onto CD.
