| The record companies and music publishers have substantially reduced the license fees for the use of their music, compared to the fees they would charge commercially as they want to support the governments Music Manifesto and they want to support the use of music in education. They charge a modest fee as music must not be considered free and a payment for copyrights must be encouraged. | |||
