The best way to become familiar with PLAYTIME is to play with it. To use
PLAYTIME
you need to be at www.broadchart.com/playtime and have a user id and password. The user id and password is only needed when you try and play music and can be obtained following registration section.

If you do a simple search, make sure only one box is ticked (artist, title album).
We recommend going to advanced search.
|
|
|
|
|

From the home page go to advanced search.
|
|
|
|
|

At this point please note the menu bars at the top right and bottom left of the web pages

Try selecting a genre and click SEARCH.
|

The results are displayed. To see other songs by any of the artists, just click the
artist name. To see if other versions of a song have been recorded, click on the
song title.

Click the heading Song Title and
Artist Name or Album Title see the results displayed alphabetically.
|
|
|

Click the cart icon (right hand side) to add some songs to your cart. Go down the songs a click the appropriate icon to add the song to the cart. Just clicking adds the song to the cart. If you are unsure if the song was added go to cart on the menu bar and have a look.

From the menu bar Click on Cart (you will see the songs added to your cart).
|
|
|
|
|

From the menu bar Click Audition All and listen to your cart selection.
|
|
|
|
|

|
From the menu Click Save to save your cart.
|
|
|
|
|

|
Save this cart to your desktop calling it a project, play list or key stage name).
|
|
|
|
|

Once it has saved, close this window.
|
|
|
|
|
13.
|
Next time you come to the system you can retrieve this cart by opening it from the cart section.

Tips:

| 1. |
Don’t forget to reset the advanced search before doing another search. |
| 2. |
If you open a cart and want to add more songs, don’t forget to save afterwards. |
| 3. |
To hear the music the computer will require speakers or headphones and one of following players: WindowsMedia, RealNetworks, Quicktime, WinAmp (not v2 or v5) |
